Roadworks and Parking Update
We have been advised by Southern Gas Network that there will be gas pipe replacement roadworks at the town end of the road Grosvenor St James Medical Practice is on. These are scheduled to take place from 22nd July 2026 with completion expected within six weeks. We believe that the junction where Upper Grosvenor Road meets Meadow Road will be closed to through traffic for at least part of this time.
Can we respectfully remind patients that Grosvenor St James Medical Practice does not have patient parking. There are two short-stay places opposite the reception main doors for patients with restricted mobility or who are disabled. The front areas of the practice are reserved for our Doctors and are in use throughout the day. Some staff cars have been recently damaged by visitors - please do not drive to the rear of the practice.
