Doctor listened to my problem with caring manner, investigated and prescripted cream hopefully seems to be the cure - many thanks

I have a complex medical history and a few medical conditions alongside each other. I saw Dr Matt, after a thorough examination, he spent the time ensuring that I was able to go immediately to A&E, I can NEVER THANK HIM ENOUGH!!!! I had a very bad infection, had I not been scanned, the infection could have become very much worse, I could easily have found myself with sepsis, maybe I would not be here to write this, but I am and I know it is Dr Matt that I have to thank. His diligent care will never be forgotten, I am always thankful for his experience and care. This is not a one off, he is an absolutely excellent Doctor, I feel guilty that he became ‘stuck with me’ as a patient ! The clerical staff are also excellent, I have personally watched them deal with a very difficult situation with the utmost curtesy and professionalism . Whenever I have had reason to contact the receptionist’s, they have been kind and efficient. All in all, I count myself as very lucky to be a patient of this surgery. THANK YOU!

Dr Lofthouse was clear in her answers and explanations. Sent us links to follow for ADHD referral and took blood pressure required for self-completion of birth control repeat prescription. I had a confusing experience the next day when I called in to check the prescription would be at Boots. Apparently details for anyone over 13 yrs cannot be shared with a parent without the express permission of the young person. I think this is too young. I understand the need for privacy but a 13 yr old is a child by any definition. I guess that's not relevant to us any more as my daughter is almost 18, however we attended the appointment together (as was her preference), I feel I should be able to check on whether her prescription was ready. In general I think it would be better to have an opt out system and for young people to say if they don't want their parents to be able to access info.

Dr Matt telephone with results of urine test and issued me with a prescription for antibiotics which was sent to chemist and I was on them within 24hrs

I was in the busy waiting area for a good 25minutes before I went in to see the GP. But it was Monday morning so I guess that’s why .

My appointment ended up being 10 mins early and also I was given adequate time to discuss my issues with the GP

I was 4 minutes late for my appointment and they asked me to rebook for another day. I walked 45 minutes amd they send me home, but when i waiting 20-30-40 minutes sometimes no one say nothing.

Satisfied with my visit, I booked in via the automatic screen I had to wait 15 minutes past my appointment time , I I thought I may not have booked in correctly , which did make me feel a little bit anxious, but I do also appreciate that it was also busy , so not a complaint about the surgery

I was seen on time, wasn't rushed, had an opportunity to ask about anything else, and was given a flu jab there and then without a booking.
