Receptionists were approachable and polite on both visits. Waiting area clean. Dr Malik very nice taking the time to explain everything clearly. My first visit in 10 years to a GP and everything was very efficient from getting an appointment for my first visit, to all tests and then receiving results and further actions. Good job by everyone working in a very pressurised system.

After initially submitting a request for an appointment via Anima to my surgery, the response was efficient and quick. Then offering me a choice of days to choose from at two different surgeries, which gives the patient more flexibility. Once I chose my preferred location and time, the confirmation of the appointment came through very quickly via the NHS app, which is also very user friendly.

Felt unheard and misunderstood and a lack of any compassion. I was unable to speak by the end of the appointment as I was trying to hold back tears and instead of meeting me as a human being who is struggling with difficult symptoms I was met defensively and with no empathy or compassion and o comment was made about my distress and the appointment abruptly ended. I feel it will be very difficult to return given the experiences I have had on two recent visits.

I sent a request to the GP for advice for what appeared to be an infected cut (I would be fine taking care of it myself if I was provided advice). The receptionist called and sent me to Crowborough Hospital minor injuries for treatment. I don't drive so I had to travel by bus with a long walk to get there. When I arrived, Crowborough Hospital minor injuries was closed. On the sign where it should say when the unit will reopen was left blank. The hospital reception had no idea why. When I called the Grosvenor GP office back, the receptionist showed no empathy and just told me to take a bus to another location a further hour away. I just went home and on the next day the Grosvenor GP saw me at my local GP office. The GP was helpful, kind, and the care & prescription was a quick easy fix. One of the reception staff at this office is very cold and abrupt, and I observed her speaking the same way to an elderly gentleman. "WAIT THERE!". I genuinely feel like some staff at Grosvenor and St James really do not care about patients' care and wellbeing.

Excellent attention from Dr Matt and arranged appointment with dermatology clinic. Only negative was that I had various blood tests previously, without any comment. So presume all was okay. I forgot to ask!

Very happy with my consultation with Dr Lofthouse. Very thorough and helpful. So that part of my experience was excellent. However I was not happy with the anima form. It would not let me complete it as it asked for my last period date and as I had a hysterectomy in 1993 I couldn’t provide this so it would not let me complete the form. The receptionist was very helpful and booked the appointment for me.
